About the Author
Robert L. Snider grew up in a very small country town named Bangor in Central Iowa and went to school in a small town about six miles away. In the summer, he worked for farmers who needed help bailing hay and walking in soybean fields cutting corn out of the beans, and playing a lot of baseball. He worked for his father who had a trucking business, a cow and calf herd, and agricultural business. They traveled very little out of state. He served on a couple of non-profit director boards and soon decided that was enough of that. He loves to play golf but only for the fun of it; he’s terrible at golf but playing with friends makes it enjoyable. After retiring, they moved from Iowa to Katy, Texas, where he volunteers helping the veterans club and has made many new friends. The hardest part of writing a book was having to wait so long before he could tell anyone his story.
